COOPERATIVE MILK UNION ACTIVITIES

Cooperative Milk Union activities are actively functioning across Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, selected areas of Adilabad District (Telangana), and parts of Maharashtra. These initiatives are designed to protect dairy farmers from financial losses and ensure stable, fair income for their milk production.

Under this system, milk collected from individual farming communities is aggregated at designated collection centers and immediately stored in nearby chilling units to maintain quality. Payments are made transparently to each member based on milk quantity and purity.

The collected milk is transported through secured milk tankers to authorized packing and processing units, maintaining hygiene and safety standards throughout the supply chain. This structured chain network ensures uninterrupted operations from farmer to market.

In addition to milk procurement, the Cooperative Milk Union provides year-round veterinary and medical support for cattle. Farmers are regularly informed about animal health care, vaccinations, and treatment schedules. Immediate medical assistance is arranged whenever required, and follow-up care is ensured until full recovery of the livestock.
